CUSTOM RUSTIC FURNITURE
The quality of this furniture is revealed by the unique craftsmanship of New
England rustic furniture builders Don McAulay, Jr. and Don McAulay, Sr.
This father and son team work with homeowners, contractors, and interior
designers to create high quality rustic furnishings for restaurants, hotels,
offices, and private homes.
They take pride in their selective harvesting methods by using all portions of
the natural raw material, right down to the roots and bark.
Browse through the website and gather inspiration and ideas for your custom
pieces.
Make sure to sign the mailing list and receive information on new products and
specials.

Ken Leigh
|
In
his early 20’s, Ken apprenticed with several master craftsmen, learning
the woodworking trade from men who worked with tools powered by their
hands. Acquiring the skills of a craftsman takes time. 35 years later,
Ken finds himself passing his knowledge to those who come behind him –
the old-time secrets, shortcuts and lost skills. A ‘renaissance man’ in
modern times – he uses modern tools to create rustic pieces that reflect
his precision, artistry and innate design flair. |

Our rustic furniture lines
include: Twig, Log, and Maple Log woods expertly crafted into lamps, tables,
rockers, chairs, even loveseats and children's furniture!
Our Twig furniture is crafted with Alder and solid bronze ring shank nails.
Alder is a durable hard wood and bronze nails are the best there is for this
type of furniture. These expensive nails are primarily used in the boat building
industry, but I would never think of using anything else. Our twig furniture is
finished with a durable exterior clear coat urethane that preserves the wood's
natural beauty.
